NAMina Bio: Human-Relevant Preclinical Models
Human-relevant preclinical models that reduce reliance on animal testing
NAMina Bio is a translational platform that combines 3D bioprinting, organoids, microphysiological systems and AI analytics to build predictive human disease models for preclinical research.
The aim is to give drug developers data from human-relevant systems earlier, so that translational decisions depend less on animal models.
Talk to us about your programme
Developed by NAMina Bio Corp, New York, USA. Represented in the EU by Auralis Biotech, which is also the European point of connection into the NAMina ecosystem.
What are NAMs
New approach methodologies (NAMs) are non-animal methods used to study disease and to test drug candidates. They include organoids, organ-on-chip systems, 3D bioprinted tissues and in silico models.
In the United States, the FDA Modernization Act 2.0 allows data from non-animal methods to support an application to start clinical trials. NAMina Bio positions its platform in line with this change.
NAMina Bio services
Every engagement starts with scientific scoping: you share the scientific question, the materials you have, your development stage and the decision you need to make, and the programme is designed around it.
NAMina Program Builder™
Design a human-relevant preclinical evidence programme around your biological question, choosing the models, readouts and analytics that answer it. A 45-minute demo and research session is available.
In Silico Translation
Starts from the decision. It turns a translational question into a computational strategy and identifies the right modelling approach, the evidence gaps and the execution requirements before you commit resources.
Mature Tumoroid Resistance Profiling™
Tumoroids matured in 3D for at least 8 days reveal drug resistance that 2D and early 3D cultures miss. Growth-rate based dose-response profiling separates cytostatic from cytotoxic effects. A 4 to 6 week pilot with a data package and a translational report.
Dynamic Systems and Fluidic Platforms
Flow-based culture systems for perfused tumour and organoid models, barrier models with TEER monitoring (lung, gut, blood-brain barrier) and modular multi-organ systems for systemic response and cross-organ toxicity.
AI Assay Confidence Modeling for Organ-on-Chip
An AI layer for barrier, organ-on-chip and tumoroid workflows. It quantifies whether an assay reliably captured a small effect, with uncertainty ranges, to support compound prioritisation.
Animal-Use Impact Assessment for NAMs
Compares conventional in vivo plans with NAM-informed scenarios to estimate where animal use can be reduced, refined or replaced.
Human-Relevant Translational Pilot
The entry point into the NAMina Translational Architecture: functional response profiling, comparison across compounds or conditions and structured datasets, without building your own infrastructure.
Technologies behind the platform
3D bioprinting
Printed tissue constructs built from human cells.
Organoids and tumoroids
3D cultures that model human tissue and tumours.
Microphysiological systems
Organ-on-chip and fluidic platforms.
AI analytics
Models that support the interpretation of assay data.

Frequently asked questions
What is NAMina Bio?
NAMina Bio is a translational platform that combines 3D bioprinting, organoids, microphysiological systems and AI analytics to build predictive human disease models for preclinical research.
What does NAM mean?
NAM stands for new approach methodology: a non-animal method, such as an organoid, an organ-on-chip system or an in silico model, used to study disease and to test drug candidates.
What does NAMina Bio offer?
Its offer includes Program Builder, In Silico Translation, Mature Tumoroid Resistance Profiling, Dynamic Systems and Fluidic Platforms, AI Assay Confidence Modeling for Organ-on-Chip, Animal-Use Impact Assessment for NAMs and a Human-Relevant Translational Pilot.
Where is NAMina Bio based?
NAMina Bio Corp is based in New York, USA.
Who represents NAMina Bio in Europe?
Auralis Biotech represents NAMina Bio in the EU as its fractional commercial partner and works as part of the NAMina team in Europe.
How does the NAMina Bio and Auralis Biotech partnership work?
Auralis Biotech is the European point of connection into the NAMina ecosystem. European companies working on human-relevant preclinical technologies can approach Auralis Biotech to explore US market entry, collaboration with NAMina Bio on specific preclinical programmes, and evaluation for integration into the NAMina Translational Architecture and Program Builder ecosystem. In parallel, NAMina Bio supports selected opportunities for Auralis Biotech and its network in the United States.
Can a European NAM developer enter the US market through Auralis Biotech?
Yes. If you are developing a human-relevant preclinical platform, an organ-on-chip system, a 3D or tumoroid model, or AI tooling for assay confidence, and the US is your next market, Auralis Biotech can connect you to the NAMina ecosystem and to the relationships needed to develop that market.
How can I get in touch with NAMina Bio through Auralis Biotech?
Contact Auralis Biotech with a short description of your technology or programme. We represent NAMina Bio in Europe and start the work with you directly.
